As I near the completion of my entrepreneur workshop classes, I can’t help but reflect on how much this journey has taught me—not just about running a business, but also about myself. When I started this workshop, I thought it would be all about learning business strategies, marketing, and goal-setting. While those lessons have been invaluable, this experience has also helped me grow in ways I didn’t expect.
One of the biggest challenges for me has always been social anxiety, especially when it comes to speaking in front of people. For someone like me, who loves the solitude of nature and the peace it brings, the idea of presenting my ideas to a group felt overwhelming at first. But through this workshop, I’ve slowly found my voice.
The supportive environment created by my instructors and peers gave me a safe space to practice. Each time I spoke up—whether it was sharing my mission for Inez Photography or pitching my ideas—it got a little easier. I learned to focus on the passion I have for what I do, which helped quiet the inner voice of doubt.
These classes have not only given me tools to grow my photography business but have also shown me that I can step out of my comfort zone and thrive. I’ve discovered that when I speak from the heart, especially about topics I care deeply about, like conservation and the beauty of nature, people are willing to listen.
As I prepare to wrap up this chapter, I’m filled with gratitude for the lessons learned, the growth I’ve experienced, and the confidence I’ve begun to build. This is just the beginning of my journey as an entrepreneur, and I can’t wait to see where it takes me next.
To anyone out there facing similar challenges, I want you to know that growth often comes from the moments that scare us the most. If I can take that step forward, you can too.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me!
